A couple of purchases from my local Daunt Books. I’ve been looking for this Penguin Modern Classic to add to my Jean Rhys collection but haven’t been able to find it in most bookstores, but Daunt had it! I’m dying to read The Secret History because I really loved The Goldfinch. I’m using it for the ‘twins’ prompt on my reading challenge. Whistle in the Dark seems really intriguing as well!
